Tammy Hicks Turner, 55, of Live Oak, FL passed away on July 24, 2025 after complications from a long battle with leukemia. Tammy was born in Edenton, North Carolina to Harold David & Connie Touchton Hicks. She was a longtime volunteer and ESE teacher at Suwannee High School until she left to take care of her beloved grandchildren. Tammy was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father: Harold David Hicks, Sr.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 37 years: Jason Turner; sons: Rielly Turner and Ryne Turner; mother: Connie Hicks; brother: David Hicks, Jr.; five and 4/5 grandchildren: Ava, Raelynn, Baxleigh, Tyson, Avey, and Jeremiah.
There will be a visitation on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 7-9pm at Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, FL.
A funeral service to honor Tammy's life will be at 10am Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
