Thomas Edward Richards (Tommy) went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Richards, his mother, Muriel Richards, and son Donny Alvarez. Tommy survived by and leaves behind his loving wife, Mellissa Richards, his eight children, Dillon Richards, Leanna Richards (Chris), Brett Wilson, Thomas Richards, Jr., Priscilla Moore (Joe), Tanner Richards, Savannah Richards (Michael), and Josh Turner; grandchildren: Gianna, Bentley, Reef, Melania, Bhodi; brother, Glenn Richards (Lory), his sister, Joanne Green (Elliot).

Tommy was the best Lumberjack in North Florida. He has been cutting trees for over 45 years, his passion. He loved his family and friends. Tommy mentored many young people. He helped very many people, as he would remind people the Lord calls for us to take care of the widows and orphans. Tommy was saved at 35. He wanted people to remember him as a saved man not from his younger years. Tommy had a dream of building small cabins to help people. He hoped to leave behind most importantly, the Love for Jesus Christ he had.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3rd at 10 am at Daniels Funeral Home in Branford with graveside services following in Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 am officiated by Mr. David Campbell.
