Thomas Richard Terry (Robby) Dec. 10, 1938 - July 16,2023 Robby was born in Bradenton, Florida, on December 10, 1938, and lived there until 2012 when he and Mary moved to Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, Florida. He is predeceased by his parents, Fannie and Tom Terry, also of Bradenton, FL. Robby is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Terry, his sister, Linda Mahofskee, of Bradenton, FL and sister-in-law, Connie Myers of Georgetown, Ohio. He has an extended family of many nieces and nephews both in Manatee County, Florida, and in Ohio. Robby attended Manatee High School, The Citadel in Charleston, SC, and the Electronics School in Miami, FL. He earned a license in Electrical Engineering and then opened his own business, Terry Communications and Electronics, which was a fixture in Bradenton for more than 30 years. Robby was always looking for ways to increase his knowledge of the Bible and of ways to broaden his ministry. He attended Luther Rice Seminary, earning a degree in Theology, and later, a PHD from Bethany Divinity Seminary in Dothan, Alabama. He was a wonderful Bible scholar and used this ministry in teaching at several churches in Manatee County, Florida, including Northwest Baptist Church, Palmetto Baptist church, and First Baptist Church. He was a Deacon and served his Lord in all phases of his life. Robby enjoyed ham radio networking with friends around the world, playing table games with friends, going on cruises and, especially, traveling with Mary in their RV all across America, including a long drive to Alaska. Robby was a man of God and will be remembered as such. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Matt 25:21.
