Velma Jean McClamma, 91, of   Live Oak, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, in the Surrey Place Care Center, Live Oak. The Lafayette County Native moved to Live Oak 65 years ago from Valdosta, GA. She was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening, yard work, flowers, sewing, and reading and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. Mrs. McClamma is survived by her daughters: Jeanie Dykes (Lewis), Steinhatchee and Margarette Milton (Ronnie), Mayo; Son: Larry McClamma (Susan), Live Oak; Five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Charles "Charlie" McClamma brothers: Edward K. Brown, Andrew J. "A.J." Brown, and Carlton Brown. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Brown, Dr. Jimmy Deas, and Dr. Ben Bush officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time at the church.
