Vera Virginia Smith Bass Kelly, 85, O'Brien, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.  She was born in O'Brien, FL, and she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she was very active in the church. She loved baking cakes, working in the yard, and spending time with family. Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband: William Kelly; daughter: Charlotte Newell (William); son: James Edward Bass; sister: Peggy Mobley (Earl); brother: Lamar Smith; eight grandchildren: Jamy, Brad, Robbie, Brandy, Juliet, Laura, Katherine, Billy, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Edward Bass. Services will be held at 11 am Monday, October 24th at Daniels Memorial Chapel in Branford with Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service beginning at 10 am.
