Vera H. Stanley

Vera H. Stanley, aged 93, of Branford, FL, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Born in Crestview, FL, she moved to Branford in 1965 from Palatka, FL, and became a member of the First Baptist Church community in Branford.

Vera is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Ted R. Stanley; her daughter, Teresa Kelley, and son-in-law, Tim, of Branford; her grandchildren, Jessie Lynn Kelley Myers (Chance) of Lynx, GA, and Dylan Kelley (Raphi) of St. Augustine, FL and great-grandchildren, River Myers and Eleia Kelley.

Vera was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Brenda Crook and Jaquita Crook, and her sister, Evelyn Kilpatrick.

A service to celebrate Vera’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 22nd, at Daniels Memorial Chapel in Branford, with interment following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
