The family of Voncile Senterfitt of Live Oak, Florida are saddened to announce her passing on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the age of 82 years old.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Angie (Rick) Davis, Marsha (Barry) Robbins, and Valerie Smith; grandchildren: Clint Jackson, Sam Jackson, Garret Robbins, Katelin Robbins, and Daniel Smith; great-grandchildren: McKayla Jackson and Faith Robbins; brother Doyle (Susan) Bell; the Senterfitt families of Carole (Larry ) Roberts, Gwen (Cecil) Stalnaker and Marilyn Roberts; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Senterfitt; son, Johnny Clyde Smith; sister, Beatrice Sauls; brother, Ray Bell; grandson, Tyler Stalnaker; parents, Lewis and Flora Bell.

Voncile was born on November 2, 1940, in Hatch Bend, Florida. She grew up in the Hatch Bend/Branford, Florida area. She worked in many areas including farming, bake shop, town hall, and county government. She also prepared taxes at H&R Block.

She thoroughly enjoyed traveling with her husband, children, and church family. She only missed visiting 3 states of the United States. She loved being able to take vacation trips and/or trips to town with her lady friends. All you had to say was "go" and she wanted to know when to have her bags packed.

Her children observed throughout the years that she began every day in God's Word and in prayer. She loved serving people in the church, on mission trips, and throughout the community. Some examples of her service include teaching Sunday School for many, many years, establishing and continuing to work in the food ministry at First Baptist Church, Live Oak, the Florida Baptist Disaster Relief team, GriefShare facilitator, and as a prayer advocate with the Pregnancy Care Center.

Visitation will be held on February 9th at 10 am with services following at 11 am in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Live Oak. Interment will be held in the Hatch Bend Baptist Church Cemetery at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pregnancy Care Center, Live Oak, First Baptist Food Ministry, or Florida Baptist Disaster Relief.
