Deanie Paul Oliva passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2025, at HCA Hospital in Lake City, FL, at the age of 76. Deanie was born in Columbus, GA, on January 24th, 1949, to the late Willie Dean Paul and Lessie Sanders Paul. She lived in McAlpin, FL, with her husband, Vincent Oliva, her partner of 56 years.

Deanie was an accomplished artist who painted beautiful ocean scenes, flowers, and barns. She was a wonderful cook who showed her love through her meals. As an active member of First Baptist Church in Branford, FL, she loved teaching arts and crafts to children at Bible school every year. She also held painting classes for the church ladies (her girls).

Deanie was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ricky Paul of Savannah, GA; sister Christy Goens of Lake City, FL; and son Craig Oliva of Tallahassee, FL.

She is survived by her husband Vincent Oliva of McAlpin, FL; son Clay Oliva of McAlpin, FL; brother Scott Paul (Robin) of Lake City, FL; grandson Cole Oliva of Oklahoma; sister-in-law Barbara Paul of Savannah, GA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who dearly loved her as she loved them. She also considered the members of her church as family.

Her memorial service will be held at a later date.
