William David "Bill" Parks November 25, 1954 - February 10, 2025 William David "Bill" Parks, 70, of Lake City, FL passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Hospice Haven of Lake City after a long battle with cancer. He was raised in Homestead, Fl.

He spent the majority of his adult life in Lake City, Fl where he worked for Hunt's Aluminum building screen rooms. He is remembered fondly by his employers as a hard working and loyal employee, as well as friend. Over the years, as his health deteriorated, he continued to be at work and give it his all, though many days it was a struggle.

To him, the most important role in life was being Daddy to his daughter, Vidalia. Everyone who knew him would say it was obvious that she was the light of his life. From the moment she was born, when not at work, he wanted to spend his time with her, teaching her to be the strong and independent person that he was. She was truly his world.

Later, Bill was blessed with 2 grandchildren, Nala and Elijah. Elijah was not yet able to talk but he would light up hearing Nala call him PaPa. Though he often didn't feel well, he would still take time to play outside with her and make sure she knew he loved her dearly.

Bill's favorite things to do, other than being Daddy and PaPa to his favorite people, was playing pool, watching football, mainly the Miami Dolphins, and watching NASCAR.

Bill left behind a host of friends that will forever mourn the loss of a man who was loyal, honest, and lived a life with integrity.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Vidalia Cheyanne Parks of Lake City, Fl, two grandchildren, Nala Mary Edna and Elijah Kai, both of Lake City, Fl, and one sister, Susan Parks of Palm Beach, Fl, all who will remember him fondly.
