Allan Smith was born on January 27, 1955 in Fort Bragg, NC to Charles and Mayme Smith. Allan, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on January 30, 2025. Due to his father being in the Army, the family moved around until they settled in Lake City, FL around his Junior year in High School. He attended and Graduated from Columbia High School in 1973. Allan moved to Dowling Park when he married his wife, Beth on October 19, 1996. Allan worked at Occidental/PCS for over 40 years. Due to his outgoing personality and good nature he was a friend to all who worked with him and knew him. He will be dearly missed. Allan was a member of the NRA and won many State Pistol Competitions in Georgia and Florida. It was much later that he got interested in hunting. Allan and Beth enjoyed inshore fishing out of Horseshoe Beach and stayed in their camper most weekends. Allan and Beth shared 28 years of marriage. They had a blended family of four: Jenn Best, Andy Smith, Lisa Gill (Kelley) and Josh Hanusek (Mindy). They have one granddaughter, Kathryn Gill. Allan is also survived by his brother, Ed Smith (Kim), his aunts, Annie Ruth Sistrunk, Marie Mallory (Dale), Margaret Smith, and his uncle, Buddy Lyons, Beth's siblings, Kelley Neal (JoAnn), Andrea Spear (Richard), Glenda Robinson, and Dave Neal, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and so many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susie Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 4 pm - 7 pm at  Allan and Beth Smith's home at 23105 102nd Place Live Oak FL 32060. Help us celebrate and remember a very special man! Plan on lots of laughs, big smiles, and hugs! Food and drink will be provided.
