Barbara Joan Brown, 63, of Wellborn, FL passed away from a long health battle on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home. Barbara was born in Neptune, New Jersey to Ira E. & Ruth Howard White. She moved to the Wellborn area in 1980 from Plantation, FL and worked as a Correctional Officer in Columbia County. Barbara loved horses, especially team roping. She was a gifted artist that painted Native American artwork on feather, pottery, and even jewelry. Barbara was not the kind to wear a dress on Sunday mornings at church but was religious in her own way. She will be missed by all her many family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her mother: Ruth White-Stuart; daughter: Dawn Brown; sister: Carole White; aunt: Joan Ford; two wonderful grandchildren: Dylan Brown and Marina Banks.

There will be a family gathering to celebrate her life at a later date.
